"Life is for Living well" encompasses the principles of Lilja's practice.  Feeling well in mind and body enables people to live their life to the full- whatever that means for them.

The World Health Organisation in its constitution emphasises that "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity"

Lilja tries to "live life well" on a personal level by way of taking responsibility for minimising the environmental impact of her life and practice, and by supporting appropriate charities such as Practical Action and the Soil Association.  Through acupuncture and working alongside other practitioners she hopes to help others to feel well and live well. She is also committed to continued professional development and learning, and keeping up to date with medical and TCM research.

The British Acupuncture Council has a strong code of ethics which includes guidance on best practice and continuing professional development, as well as ensuring confidentiality and respect for the patient as an individual in charge of their own health and healthcare.
